I believe this election which will choose our next president and that is the most important election that our country has ever had. This election has dire consequences for our future generations and that is why I post this article and will vote this year. My vote is for my kids, grandkids and the next few generations.
Let me explain.
On the surface this election looks to be between a salacious, brutish Donald Trump and a corrupt, mendacious Hillary Clinton. However, if you think this, you are only looking at the tip of the POTUS election iceberg. Underneath the political sea lies the real reason as to why this election is so important.
Yes, Donald Trump has made several obnoxious statements and yes, Hillary has practiced corruption but what counts is that the next president will name at least three supreme court justices and probably four. This is what is important! After all the House and the Senate don't allow presidents to do much but there is one thing they can do. Presidents can name Supreme Court justices that will decide the fate of our nation's future.
For the first many decades of our country both Republican and Democratic party named judges that held that the Constitution was the standard for interpreting the laws of the land. The Court made some mistakes along the way but for the most part the Supreme Court helped our country prosper. However over the last few decades, Democrat Presidents have begun to name justices who don't think that the Constitution is the standard by which decisions should be made. Therefore some of the liberal justices on the Court have begun to use other criteria to determine the Court's cases.
Even worse, liberal Supreme Court justices actually have succeeded in making new laws when making a ruling. This was never the intent of the founding fathers or the Constitution. The Supreme Court's role in the Constitution is to interpret laws based on the Constitution, not to make laws. Law making is to be done by the Leglislative branch of our government and that includes the House and the Senate.
The Supreme Court has been pretty balanced over the last few years since four of the justices were conservative and always consider the Constitution as its vetting standard. Today there are also four liberal justices who often use other means than relying on the Constitution for determining their ruling on a case before the Court. The 9th Justice, Anthony Kennedy, sometimes sides with the conservative justices and sometimes with the liberal justices. The Court's rulings have been increasingly liberal but there was some semblance of balance.
At this very moment the Supreme Court has only eight justices as Antonin Scalia died last February. The Republicans have refused to name a replacement citing that the new President should be able to do so. The alarming fact is that several of the justices are quite elderly and there is a good chance that the next President will likely name three to four new justices. The next President will have an incredible impact on Supreme Court decisions for decades since confirmed justices stay on the Court until they retire or die.
With this in view remember that at the presidential debate a question was asked as to what was important to the candidates when naming candidates to the supreme court. Donald Trump mentioned that he would name candidates to the Court who value the constitution.
Hillary on the other hand mentioned that she would name justices who agreed with our political bias.
This then is the primary issue in determining for whom you will vote. Just what could a liberal activist laced supreme court do over the next 30 years should Hillary get elected and name them to the Court?
Remember that the Supreme Court's decision become permanent unless overturned by a future Supreme Court. Why? Because Supreme Court decisions become the standard by which all future decisions on that issue are deliberated. Remember Roe vs. Wade in one fatal decision is now the law of the land. Remember how the Supreme Court decided the locked-up 2000 POTUS election. Also Supreme Court decisions are final. The other two branches of the government and the whole country must bow to every Supreme Court decision.
Therefore the Supreme Court laced with liberal activist judges could do crazy things. You could see the following happen, probably not in the first four years, but maybe some of them in eight years or some could take twenty years to happen. Either way, a liberal Court who cars nothing of the Constitution could change the very fabric of our society.
Here is my predictions for an activist liberal laced Supreme Court:

Our second amendment would be seriously destroyed. In the early years, most guns would be restricted for purchase. Most people would eventually be hindered from buying a gun. In fact, buying a gun could eventually be made illegal. Worse, buying ammunition could be restricted or outlawed which would effectively eliminate the right to bear arms.

Our first amendment would be irreparably damaged on multiple fronts. The Court could rule that many statements of free speech are "hate speech". There are already liberals clamoring for hate speech to be a punishable crime. Another target for "hate speech" is our freedom of religion. The liberal laced Court will likely make preaching Christianity themes a punishable hate crime. Imagine a person preaching the Christian gospel locked up in prison.

This liberal dominated Court will likely give Muslims the right to have Sharia Law. This is already happening in Europe and is causing many problems already. Sharia Law would be catastrophic to America and our future generations.

The new liberal based Court would likely rule that America should have open borders. If that occurred, tens of millions of Mexicans and Central Americans would pour into our country crushing our social programs and many criminals would come across the border making violent crimes skyrocket.

The activist Court would likely seal the deal for Obamacare which is impoding right now because of its rising premiums and deductibles. Only one thing can save this flawed program and that would be the Supreme Court.

Abortion rights would be increased under a packed liberal Court. The heinous third-trimester abortion laws would only be strengthened and all women including illegal aliens will be given government funded abortions.

Eminent domain would escalate at an incredibly horrible rate. The big government supportive Court would simply allow the Federal Government to seize the properties of those whom they disagree with and that is simply scary.
I could go on and on but in the interests of space I will not. Let your imagination grow wild with what the liberal dominated Supreme Court could do and then think about how this effects our future generations. Crazy Supreme Court rulings will be very bad for our kids, grandkids and great grandkids. Much of the above would guarantee a weak economy and push America into becoming a third world country. Your grandkids might never be able to acquire wealth no matter how hard they work. The chance of a civil war would become very likely eventually.
Friends, there has never been a more important time for you to notice what the stakes are in this election. Don't get sucked into the idea that the choice between Trump and Hillary is about choosing the better person. No, what matters is how each would build the next rendition of the Supreme Court. The Constitution has protected our nation for over 200 years but if it becomes obsolete the Supreme Court will have no compass and can just move on their own political leanings. Ruling on cases while leaning only on your own political bias is dangerous no matter if the Court is packed with Liberals or Conservatives because when you throw out the Constitution you throw out the foundation and standard by which this nation was created.
Never has more been at stake.
So hold your nose if you must and vote for Trump and then having done so, move your hand to your heart and remember that your vote protects your kids, grandkids and generations to come.
